SIBT & SSHT open today; leading industry players to exhibit and partake in fringe programme

Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology (SIBT) and Shanghai Smart Home Technology (SSHT), alongside the concurrent Parking China (PKC) fair and Shanghai Smart Office Technology (SSOT) zone, will take place from 2 – 4 September in halls W3 to W5 of the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The fairs have attracted around 200 well-known companies to participate, showcasing a wide range of new technologies and products. And with the strong support of a number of industry partners, the fairs’ fringe programmes will feature 17 forums and seminars with over 140 well-known speakers discussing the latest hot topics.

As China’s economic recovery continues, many companies are exhibiting at the fairs to display new products and technologies. With the advancement in smart products and the increasing demand for a better user experience, exhibitors will showcase a range of new smart products and technologies. This includes complete smart home systems, IoT, cloud platforms, smart security, smart sun-shading, audio visual and home entertainment systems, home theatres, AI facial and voice recognition, smart community total solutions, building intercoms, smart office, parking management, smart lighting, access control management and more. And in the field of epidemic prevention, a selection of smart products and solutions will feature at the fair including community epidemic prevention, self-service kiosks, AI facial thermometers and more. With these brands and technologies, the fairs will assist the industry to progress by realising complete connectivity, cross-boundary integration and constructing a better smart ecosystem.

17 high-end forums and seminars present new trends of the industry
The fairs’ are cooperating with a range of industry players to jointly hold 17 quality forums and seminars, covering hot topics including smart homes, buildings, offices and communities, smart A/V, smart controls, smart parking, technology standards, integrated technologies, office space management, healthy offices and lighting, 5G, IoT, AIoT and more.

SIBT is organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, Shanghai Hongshan Exhibition Service Co Ltd, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade – Shanghai Pudong Sub-Branch and The Intelligent Engineering Branch of China Exploration & Design Association. The two fairs will take place from 2 – 4 September 2020 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. SIBT and SSHT are both headed by the biennial Light + Building event in Frankfurt, Germany. The next edition will take place from 13 – 18 March 2022.
